Auditorium

...

The College has an aesthetically designed and air-conditioned Auditorium with a seating capacity of around 825 people. As the name suggests the auditorium has been named after eminent freedom fighter Satyawati Devi and late Dr. K.P Bhatt, former principal of the college. Dr. Bhatt had served the college for more than twenty-five years and under his meticulous guidance and perseverance, Satya auditorium has seen the light of the day. In the present day, the Auditorium is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure with double floor seating, a generator for power back-up and a well-equipped green room. It has excellent acoustics and a modern sound system as well as full stage lighting facilities. It is also furnished with hand fire extinguishers and has exit points in case of emergency. The Auditorium hosts a rich variety of cultural programmes and serves as a perfect venue for hosting various intra and inter-college events. It stands as a witness to special assemblies, annual days, prize distribution ceremonies, fresher’s party, farewell and much more. The auditorium acts as the perfect platform for students to showcase their multi-various talents including dance, drama, theatre, music, debate and other student activities. The regular hustle-bustle during college days in the auditorium adds to the necessary part of college life where students express their creative endeavours and also learn many useful life skills such as team spirit, coordination, management and confidence. The Auditorium also has a ramp along with the flight of steps for our differently-abled students. It has been constructed keeping in mind the special requirements of some of our students and encouraging them to participate in every activity without hindrance and difficulty.
